Hong Kong

After 4 hours of flying I arrived safely in Hong Kong. Seeing Chris again was like a scene from a romantic movie, lovers falling in eachothers arms and ofcourse I cried a bit (altough I really tried not to ;))

Hong Kong is a cosmopolitic city, that at first sight is only one big skycraper. But if you look closer there are beautiful tempels and historical buildings from the British era. That's not the only thing the British left behind. English is still the official language next to the Cantonese. And they are very consequent, on every streetcorner everything is bilangual.

Comparing Hong Kong to Dhaka is nearly impossible. It's almost the opposit except the fact that is a metropole. Hong Kong is clean, structured and the people are always friendy and ready to help you. And they don't want money for it ;)

So if you think Hong Kong is a city not worth visiting, you're wrong! Hong Kong is a great (in more ways then one) city, where East meets West and you really get 'the best of both worlds'.

ps: Dhaka has for sure NOT left my mind. Every two sentences I say: "That was the same/different/worse in Bangladesh".
And of course I'm thinking of the people that have to survive Dhaka ;)
